The Marquee Hire Site
- Marquee Hire is provided on the basis that we have reasonable site access and can setup without risk of injury to our operatives or others.
- Prices quoted are as a result of conditions noted at the marquee hire site during the survey. If alterations to the site are made which effect set up schedule; we reserve the right right to make additional extra charges.
- All prices are quoted on the assumption that no alterations are made to the site of the marquee insulation and remains clear of obstructions.
- The marquee site must also be free of contaminations such as rubbish or dog mess.
- Overhanging trees and bushes which may have grown since our survey must be cut back so as not to effect the marquee instillation schedule.
- Marquees will be secured with the most appropriate method. If metal stakes are required the hirer will assume responsibility to identify the location of any cabling, pipe work or structure that may be damaged and accept responsibility for any damage caused.
- Where metal stakes can not be used weights such as sand bags water barrels or fixed objects can be used to secure the Marquee. The hirer must take responsibility that these tie down points are not interfered with.
- The Hirer should not assume that any equipment not detailed in our quotation will be supplied.
- No equipment supplied by us can be removed from the marquee hire site without our written permission.
Hirers Responsibility
- When arriving on site the hirer must make all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our operatives and the security of marquee equipment.
- Once the Marquee and additional equipment is set up on site an inspection is conducted to make the hirer aware of any possible or existing defects in the marquee and equipment. Following this the marquee and all equipment is assigned into the care of the hirer who is then responsible for any damages incurred.
- At all times it is the hirers responsibility that all steps are taken to avoid injury to themselves and others whilst avoiding damages to the marquee.
- No barbeques, gas fires, cigarettes etc are to be used within, or close to the marquee.
- The hirer must prevent any climbing or hanging from the marquees frame, it is dangerous and may result in damages to the marquee.
- No silly string, party poppers or any banners are to be attached to marquee without written consent.
- If the marquee is retrieved in a dirty condition which is as a result of actions of the guests (ie food throw at roof linings etc) then the hirer will incur a cleaning charge.
- In excessively windy conditions a marquee can act like an umbrella when left open. It is therefore the hirers responsibility to ensure that all entrances are closed securely and are only opened for the sole purpose of entering or leaving the marquee.
- The Hirer must take adequate precautions in the event of rain or snow that it is not allowed to collect on any of the equipment as this may cause damage, for which the hirer will be liable for. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure the equipment is adequately heated to prevent damage from frost, ice or snow.
